  1. Marketing mix (4Ps).: Product, Price, Place, Promotion. These are the four main elements that make up the average marketing strategy.
  2. Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning (SDP).: The process of identifying specific market segments, choosing which segments to target and how to position the product or service in the market.
  3. Customer Journey: The path a customer takes from initial contact with a brand to final purchase. This includes terms such as ToFu, MoFu and BoFu.
  4. Content Marketing: Creating and sharing valuable content to attract and retain a target audience.
  5. SEO (Search Engine Optimization).: Optimizing online content to be more visible in search engines such as Google and Bing.
  6. SEA (Search Engine Advertising).: Paid advertisements in search engines to generate direct traffic to a website.
  7. Social media marketing: The use of social media platforms to promote products and services.
  8. E-mail marketing: The use of e-mail to communicate directly with customers and inform them of offers, news, and other relevant information.
  9. KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).: Measurable values that indicate how effective a company is in achieving its key business objectives.
  10. ROI (Return on Investment).: A measure of the profitability of an investment. It represents the ratio of net profit to the cost of the investment.
  11. Branding: The process of creating a unique name, image and message for a product or service in the mind of the consumer.
  12. USP (Unique Selling Proposition).: What distinguishes a product or service from its competitors.
  13. Affiliate marketing: A form of marketing in which companies reward their partners (affiliates) for each customer they attract through their marketing efforts.
  14. Inbound marketing: A strategy that attracts customers through content marketing, social media, SEO and branding, rather than actively targeting them through traditional advertising methods.
  15. Outbound marketing: Traditional form of marketing in which companies send their message to a target audience, such as through TV ads, direct mail or telemarketing.
  16. CPC (Cost Per Click).: The price you pay for each click in a pay-per-click (PPC) marketing campaign.
  17. CPM (Cost Per Mille).: The price of 1,000 ad impressions on one web page or expression.
  18. CRM (Customer Relationship Management).: Systems and strategies that companies use to manage and analyze their interactions with current and potential customers.
  19. Lead generation: The process of attracting and converting suspects and prospects into someone who has expressed interest in a company’s product or service.
  20. Conversion rate: The percentage of visitors to a Web site who perform a desired action, such as filling out a form, signing up for the newsletter, or making a purchase.
  21. Remarketing/Retargeting.: Online advertising strategies that target users who have previously interacted with your website or online ads.
  22. Native advertising: Ads that match the look, feel and function of the medium in which they appear.
  23. B2B (Business-to-Business).: Companies that sell products or services to other companies.
  24. B2C (Business-to-Consumer).: Companies that sell products or services to individual consumers.
  25. SWOT Analysis: A strategic planning tool that evaluates the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats of a company.
  26. Viral marketing: A marketing strategy that focuses on spreading information and opinions about a product or service from person to person, especially through social media and e-mail. It’s viral when it goes viral very quickly.
  27. Landing page: A specific Web page designed for a particular purpose, such as collecting contact information or selling a product. You usually end up on this after clicking a unique link.
  28. Programmatic advertising: The automated process of buying and selling ad space in real time.
  29. Omnichannel marketing: An approach that provides a seamless customer experience regardless of channel or device.
  30. CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost).: The total cost to acquire a new customer through marketing and sales efforts.
  31. CLOI (Customer Lifetime Revenue / Income): The total revenue of 1 customer, over his lifetime as a customer.
